Swiss Chocolate is a breed developed by Raphael Alber from Switzerland. The name is perfectly chosen for the extra dark, chocolate-brown fruits. Its flavour is unique, combining apple with berries and raisins, along with smoky tones. The relatively large pods are thick-walled, making them ideal for a spicy chili powder. The heat level, at 300,000 to 400,000 Scoville, is slightly above the average Habanero level.
We have cultivated numerous Habanero varieties, I find that Swiss Chocolate stands out as one of the finest, truly a remarkable achievement in breeding!
