This is the black pheno of the Purple Mamp BBG. The Mojo Addicted mutation pepper cultivar stands out uniquely when it comes to its dark and bubblegum characteristics. Initially, its pods are an intense black, featuring a noticeable BBG bleeding calyx, which gradually transforms into red with a black and red calyx as they ripen. It’s worth noting that, like all BBG variations, the bubblegum calyx isn’t guaranteed, so it’s advisable to cultivate multiple plants to ensure the desired BBG phenotype, hoever all 14 plants this year (2023) have shown great bleeding characteristics.
Leaves are very dark and the stems and branches are mostly very dark black. Grows quite tall with thin branches and produces an abundant amount of pods
