Aji Norteno

Aji Norteño Chilli Seeds – 15 Fresh Seeds

Another great Capsicum baccatum pepper from Peru which names means Northern Aji as it comes from the north of Peru and Aji means pepper or chilli.

Plant is quite large and can grow over 2 meter if planted direct in the ground and produces a large number of quite long fruits which are around 3 – 4 inches long. Pods start off with white flowers which produce green pods that finally ripen to a dark red.

The Norteno is used in all sorts of Peruvian cuisine and is quite often served fresh with seafood.
