Habanero Red Savina Chilli Seeds – 10 Fresh Seeds
A former world record holder for the World’s Hottest Chilli until 2007, the Red Savina is a super-hot pepper. It held the world record for 12 years from 1995 to 2006 to be then displaced by the Bhut Jolokia also called the Ghost Pepper and then the Carolina Reaper.
The Savina was developed by a chap called Frank Garcia from GNS Spices, he found a red fruit growing amongst his field of orange habaneros and saved it for later where he used it to develop this strain.
It has a good taste if you can get past the heat, some say it is quite sweet.
350,000 – 577,000 SHU.
