Pimenta da Neyde Chilli Seeds – 10 Fresh Seeds
The Pimenta da Neyde pepper is generally acknowledged to have originated in Brazil, discovered by a woman named Neyde Hidalgo (Hidalgo da Neyde). This pepper is thought to be the product of an unintentional cross-pollination between a variety of Capsicum annuum and a type of C. chinense.
Consequently, the plants exhibit a robust and tall stature characteristic of many annuum species, while possessing a flavour and aroma reminiscent of habanero peppers.
It is a well know variety used in many different chilli cross breeding projects.
